Robby’s friends was founded in June, 1990 as a living memorial to Robby Ferrufino, who died at the age of 10 on August 21, 1989, after a two and a half year battle with a rare form of cancer.

Our purpose is to provide opportunities for pediatric cancer patients, their siblings and parents to have some fun together and break up the grimness of cancer treatment.

We are a 501(c)3 non-profit charitable organization incorporated in the State of Colorado. All of our money comes from generous donations from people like you. Our funds are used to plan many activities that help ease the traumatic family changes that arise after a child is diagnosed with cancer.

Thank you very much for your support!

Since 1990, our activities have included:

● Trips to Breckenridge and the YMCA of the Rockies

Christmas parties at the DCPA

● Trips to The Children’s Museum and the Governor’s Mansion

● Reunion and kite-flying picnics

● Skiing

● Pony rides

● Attendance at Rockies, Avalanche, Nuggets and Broncos games

● Passes to Water World, Denver Zoo and Elitch Gardens

● Halloween parties

● Camp outs
